The Deltaport Third Berth Project (DP3) Environmental Assessment (EA) Application was prepared in compliance with both the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act and the BC Environmental Assessment Act, and with the involvement of key VPA staff and over 30 specialist consultants. 

The DP3 EA Application examined a wide variety of factors relating to potential environmental, socio-economic and cultural effects. The findings of several environmental studies by the VPA resulted in a reduction of the project footprint to minimize impacts on the environment and community.
