In the fall of 2007, the DCLC decided that it would be appropriate to create its own website so that the public may better understand that the committee is a separate entity from Port Metro Vancouver.

We have build this site with two main uses in mind. Firstly, we are putting all materials that are within our mandate on the site so that information relating to the Deltaport Third Berth, such as "issues tracking documents" are close at hand or a link or two away. Secondly, we feel it is important for the community to more easily interact with the DCLC and to have the ability to ask questions of Port Metro Vancouver and the DCLC in such a way that a timely response is received. With this in mind we welcome all comments and questions .
